Slitting is a precision processing method that cuts wide sheets or films into narrower widths according to specific requirements. It is widely used in manufacturing industries where accuracy, consistency, and stable quality are essential.
By controlling cutting width, edge quality, and tension during processing, slitting ensures uniform dimensions and smooth edges, which are critical for downstream processes such as molding, printing, lamination, and automated assembly. Slitting can be applied to a variety of plastic materials, including sheets and films, and can be customized to meet diverse production needs, from standard cutting to micro slitting with extremely fine widths.
